Welcome to the Polutropon Games Wiki!
This is the first verse of the Odyssey:
ἄνδρα μοι ἔννεπε, μοῦσα, πολύτροπον, ὃς μάλα πολλὰ πλάγχθη, ἐπεὶ Τροίης ἱερὸν πτολίεθρον ἔπερσεν
Tell me, Muse, of that man of many resources, who wandered far and wide, after sacking the holy citadel of Troy.
Polutropos, the greek adjective, means literally "multiple turns". In its figurative signification, however, it means being shrewd, resourceful, and having more than one trick up our sleeves. In the Odyssey, it is generally one Odysseus's epithet: "ἄνδρα πολύτροπον" : "this man of many resources".
This is what we aspire to be.
